Yes. Because this is a community theater, participation is a full commitment. Auditioning means being open to the role a performer is cast in, including ensemble roles. This helps ensure fairness and avoids recasting later in the process.
No! Bragi’s Players is a community youth theater, and our goal is to provide a supportive, educational, and fun experience for all participants.
While performers may list role preferences on the audition form, we cannot guarantee specific roles. Auditioning indicates a willingness to accept any role offered.
Yes. To ensure commitment and fairness to all families, payment is required upfront when registering for auditions
Yes. If a performer chooses to withdraw, a cancellation fee may apply if withdrawal occurs after casting. Specific deadlines and fees are outlined in each production’s registration details.
Fees help cover production costs such as:
Scripts and licensing
Set materials and props
Production expenses
T-shirt for each cast member
Professional photography
USB or DVD copy of the production per family.
As a nonprofit organization, all proceeds go directly back into supporting youth theater.
Rehearsals are typically held on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Group and role-specific schedules are released after casting. All conflicts must be listed at registration and will be the only excused conflicts. Rehearsals, tech rehearsals, and performances are mandatory. A full production calendar will be shared once casting is complete.
Because theater is a team effort, consistent attendance is expected. Conflicts should be listed in advance on the audition form whenever possible. Frequent absences—whether excused or unexcused—can negatively impact the production and may result in removal from the show.
Most productions include multiple performances. Exact dates and times are listed on the production page.
Costumes, under base layers, and shoes will be required to be purchased by families. Specific guidelines and expectations will be provided well in advance.. Every effort will be made to keep costs as reasonable as possible, and families are encouraged to reach out if cost is a concern.
Yes! Show your theater spirit with show-specific apparel and Bragi’s Players gear, including t-shirts, hoodies, and more, available through our online storefront.
Each cast member receives one show t-shirt included with their registration fee. Additional items are optional and available for purchase. Ordering details and deadlines will be shared so items can arrive before the show whenever possible.
